My piece for the Lair Legion/Avengers Crossover

Unknown to many in the Parodyverse, but the "Mightiest Heroes" from an alternate reality, The Avengers, have some how come to the Parodyverse. They came here by way of coming back from another Dimension with yet another team (See the JLA/Avengers crossover for more on that.) Also, a series of mystical items were brought into the Parodyverse along with the Avengers. This is where we start our story (sort of).

We start our story on a random street in Parrodipolis. It doesn't matter what street it is, it's just a street. Two young, fresh fellows happen to be walking down that very street. They are know collectively as Chad & Ronnie. Individually, one is known as Chad & the other is known as Ronnie. They were talking (More like Ronnie was talking & Chad was giving non-verbal answers) about life, the universe & everything else.

"I do feel that Miss Duff is superior to any others of her kind." Ronnie said. Then, something caught his eye.

"Hey! What's that?"

The duo walk over into an alleyway (It doesn't matter which alleyway it is, it's just a alleyway.) Ronnie picks up what appears to be a orange cloth glove with six gems (Each of different colors) sewn into it.

"Shinny!" Ronnie says commenting on the gems. Chad agrees.

"What should we do with it?" Ronnie asks.

Chad leans in & whispers to Ronnie.

"Agreed!" Ronnie says as he put on the glove.

"I'm having a Michael Moment." Ronnie said & they laughed a bit. Then, Ronnie feels funny & it's not the normal type of funny he gets.

"I feel funny. I feel like I'm connecting with the Universe on some base level. Sort of like that time we tried acid in '67!"

Chad fondly remembers that. Then, remember his fight with Paul & then his fight with Ringo. As Chad thinks back, Ronnie starts to glow & lift off the group.

"This so totally Rocks!"

Before Ronnie can do anything really bad, a man dressed up in a dark grey cloak appears from out of nowhere. His green eyes glow as he says "Ronald Arnold Gerrimoto Beeslyhuxtoy, give me the Infinity Gauntlet NOW!"

The Man in Grey knows from repeated involvement with this duo is that the only real way to deal with them is by force or with Hostess Fruit Pies & he's out of those.

The glow around Ronnie dims as he floats down to the ground. "Ok, Mr. Spooky!"

Once on the ground, Ronnie takes of the glove & hands it to the Man in Grey.

"Thank you!" He says, his eyes glow & his disappears.

Shortly there after Chad & Ronnie forget ever having the Infinity Gauntlet. They then wonder why they are in a alleyway.

"Hey, Chad! Look at this!" Ronnie says as he holds up a glowing cube he just found in a dumpster.

Footnotes:

I'm not sure if the Lair Legion/Avenger Round Robin is still going or even if this fits in, but this was the only idea I had.
